Job Description
We are actively recruiting a full-time Account Manager based in Boston who will play a vital role on our Health Plan Team. The primary responsibility of this role is the overall value & long-term success of the PatientPing client relationship with our Health Plan clients. Responsibilities include strategic planning, building & maintaining strong client relationships, workflow optimization, issue resolution, & creating opportunities for expansion within existing our existing client base. Success in these areas will drive client retention, loyalty & satisfaction. It will also help the company to increase market share, profitability, & bottom-line revenue growth.
 
Some of the key areas of focus for this role are:
 
Client Strategy:  Understand the client's near- & long-term strategic priorities & organizational goals, business objectives, challenges, & capabilities in order to develop a client-specific strategy & tactical delivery plan that incorporates:
Roadmap to achieve client's goals
Current & future product & technical capabilities
Identify & support upsell & cross-sell opportunities within existing clients
Maintain rolling 30/60/90 day tactical plans, along with longer term strategic timelines
 
Client Outcomes/ Loyalty:
Ensure client goals are met:  Role-specific (CM, nurses, quality staff) adoption of PatientPing products. Conduct regular QBR meetings with the client to ensure they are meeting strategic goals defined during sales process and/or implementation
Drive plans to achieve & maintain the client as a reference site (case study, phone calls, letters, press releases, etc.)
Develop & cultivate advocacy to drive sales & market growth collaborating with established customer assignment
Provide business insight & value to retain customers & enhance customer relationships
 
Client Operational Objectives:
Manage escalated issues to resolution
Serve as point-person & trusted resource for assigned clients
Involve operations team where opportunities to improve client operational use of our platform exists
Involve growth team where opportunities for expansion or addition of services exist

In 3 months
Developed in-depth understanding of PatientPing's technology, features, & functionality
Understood why customers buy, how they measure value, how they engage with our product
Scheduled Calls, Meetings & Introductions with all assigned Health Plan accounts
Established working relationships with Sales, Account Management & Integration teams
 
In 6 months
Drove initiatives to improve Health Plan Account Management efficiency & effectiveness
Delivered successful support & guidance to assigned Health Plan accounts
Generated upsell & cross-sell leads for Growth team
Iterated to improve the Account Management model for the Health Plan team
 
In 12 months
Demonstrated success across all assigned accounts
Met & Exceeded all performance metrics
Successfully renewed & retained all assigned accounts
Developed framework for successful Account Management model for the Health Plan team
Served as a dependable internal & external resource for our Health Plan business
 
What You Need:
A mission-driven focus with a passion for spearheading change in complex healthcare environments, awareness of payer/provider reimbursement models, & interoperability/healthcare tech trends. You should be able to juggle multiple engagements simultaneously, manage competing priorities & demonstrate a desire to constantly learn & develop.
Clinical or operational background from Health Plans preferred
Experience with enterprise software preferred; healthcare or electronic health records a plus
Experience with high growth companies preferred
Complex project management or consulting experience a plus
