Seeking to hire a Contractor based out of Argentina or Mexico for Senior Backend Software Engineering Services.

Scope of Services:

• As a Backend Engineer Contractor, you will help the team deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. 

• You will be a key contributor within a software development team, & will craft great software & automated tests to assure the design & quality of your code.
• You will also own delivery of features, independently, & will provide thoughtful input that helps with scoping & design for your team.
• Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, you will partner closely with Engineering, Product Management, & Product Design to refine ambiguous goals into clearly defined, iterative work items.

Why youre a great fit:

• You have 5+ years of backend experience in software development & have demonstrated success working in a software as a service (SaaS) environment.
• You are able to leverage your intermediate experience in Python to effectively build & deploy highly performant & well tested REST APIs & create performant data models.
• Additionally, you have a firm understanding of relational databases & experience in writing SQL & optimizing data models, as well as writing & optimizing queries with scalability & performance in mind. 
• Experience working with LLMs or machine learning models is a plus but not required.
• On top of your technical skills, you are excited to work in a collaborative & inclusive environment that supports continued improvement through code reviews & feedback. 
• You take pride in your ability to identify missing requirements early in the development cycle, create & maintain performant & scalable backend systems, write  resilient & testable code, & deliver on sprint commitments.
