As a Network Operations Center Engineer at Via, you'll be a critical part of Via's platform monitoring team. The Network Operations Center (NOC) is responsible for monitoring Vias services, ensuring reliability for our platform, & responding to critical incidents that impact our platforms success in real time. This role will be at the forefront of our effort to maintain a stellar partner experience, & a powerful product across our services.
What You'll Do:
- Monitor Vias service availability & performance, while handling performance incidents quickly & professionally.
- Monitor the stability of our infrastructure, cloud, servers, applications, operators, drivers & riders around the world.
- Manage internal notifications during incidents, in order to update Vias employees & management about any service degradation & changes of status, at any given time.
- Work with various R&D & Business teams to resolve complex issues pertaining to service performance.
- Implement timely solutions to customer issues or escalate complexity to another team internally when needed.
Who You Are:
- Highly service-oriented & empathetic, with an ability to communicate under pressure.
- Quick to action: youre able to identify/triage incidents with urgency in a complex production environment.
- A fast learner: able to learn & understand complex workflows quickly.
- A team player who is excited about collaborating with others, but also able to fly solo with independence when needed.
- You hold a degree in a technical subject matter such as Computer Science / Engineering / Information Systems or a similar area.
- You are experienced with troubleshooting & providing support in a SaaS / IT environment, from a global company.
- Scripting/Programming knowledge is a plus.
- Understanding of monitoring concepts & management tools is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
- All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, & abilities of the applicant, internal equity, & alignment with market data
- Pay Range: $115,000-$160,000
