Marketing Evolution seeks a technical product manager focused on the development of media planning & activation software features for a marketing impact analytics platform. This position reports to the Head of Product. This person determines the vision & product roadmap, & works with key stakeholders & customers both internal & external to prioritize building & maintaining products essential to our continued success & scalable growth. We believe high performing product teams are the cornerstone of all great products. As a product manager, your primary responsibility is the overall success of your product & your team as well as setting & executing its strategy.
Drive buy-build-partner analysis, & where necessary, review potential partner relationships for the product.
Know why we are winning & losing in the market, & drive changes to our product & processes to create improvement.
Keep a finger on the pulse of our competition, & develop strategies & tactics to reduce their threat.
Develop a roadmap for media planning & activation with machine intelligence centered products to illustrate our vision & plan into the future.
Develop & maintain business proposals that makes a compelling case for continued investment into your products.Collaborate with other stakeholders such as media planning & buying users on the creation of your products & with product marketing on the positioning for your products.
Create user stories for current & future products to meet & anticipate the needs of current & future clients.
Run agile scrums with engineering team leaders to manage development cycles for media planner product components.
Develop transition plans for internal teams & clients for product tests & releases.
3+ years of marketing, development, media, & product management experience.Subject matter expert in data driven media planning & backend technologies that enable buyers & buying within marketing organization & partner agencies, especially for local media buying.
Tech savvy & passionate about building products.
Candidate needs to be able to operate in an ambiguous environment, & be a self-starter who can create & lead a team down a path with loosely defined boundaries
Track record of using qualitative & quantitative data to prioritize & drive decision-making.
Comfortable using collaboration tools such as Slack, JIRA. Comfortable with data, math, & technical subject matter.
Metrics-driven: Strong analytical & synthesis skills are a must, including the ability to absorb & process large amounts of data into actionable information.Experience with best practice agile scrum development.
Curious & comfortable holding professional conversations with our target buyers & users.
Must be a strong writer & public speaker in front of large, senior groups.Excellent people & management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams & third parties.
