AccuWeather seeks a high energy, highly motivated Senior Account Manager to join one of the key teams driving growth & innovation within AccuWeathers Business. Bring your passion for making an impact on people's lives & for working with a diverse, supportive, & fun team. The Senior Account Manager will work alongside Business Development Leaders within our Digital Media Line of Business & oversee a portfolio of accounts with our worldwide technology & media partners, who leverage our world-class forecasting & industry-leading platforms & APIs to power their products & services. The Senior Account Manager will directly manage accounts from deal close to renewal/upsell & for major, strategic accounts will be a part of the core team ensuring a successful launch & scaling of the account. The hub of the wheel for Digital Media Business Development Accounts & Partnerships, the Senior Account Manager establishes, & maintains a rhythm of business with highly productive meetings & follow-through, efficient processes, & clear & effective communication between key stakeholders.  You will take ownership of each Account & work with teams within AccuWeather & our Partners to ensure the account meets or exceeds its growth & revenue goals.

The Senior Account Manager role is a great stepping stone to professional growth within a highly successful Business Development Team at AccuWeather. You will work with many of the world's top technology & media companies & many partners on the cutting edge of new technologies & industries.


  • Work closely with Directors & VPs of Business Development within the Digital Media BD Team
  • Confidently develop working relationships with multiple points of contact within partner organizations
  • Set up & run account management infrastructure for Meetings, Reporting, Note-Taking, Project/Deliverable Tracking, File Storage, Monthly Routine/Invoicing.
  • Produce Monthly Reports on your accounts/partnerships for Senior Executive Consumption
  • Learn & become a go-to expert on the monthly revenue reporting & billing for your accounts.Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal & external stakeholders
  • Work with BD Team members to forecast & track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results & annual forecasts)
  • Build & maintain strong & productive relationships with both clients/customers/partners & with key teams within AccuWeather, including Product Management, Finance & Accounting, Business Intelligence, Ad Ops, Technical Account Management, IT/Development, Marketing, Legal, HR & Business Development.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters - including product & business requests as well as issues for resolution or escalation.
  • This position may require occasional travel.


  • Undergraduate Degree Required
  • 5+ Years of proven work experience, with regular customer or partner interaction, in at least one of the following Business Functions & Industry Verticals required:
    • Business Functions:
      • Account Management
      • Business Development
      • Business Intelligence/Analytics/Statistics
      • Product Management or Product Developmen
      • Finance/M&A
    • Industry Verticals:
      • Weather Industry
      • Media/Advertising
      • Technology/Cloud/CRM
      • Social Media

      • Advanced Agriculture
    • Passion for process, organization, efficiency & problem solving
    • Excellent listening, verbal & written communication skills
    • Comfort with communicating, presenting & influencing key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive.
    • Able to learn/understand & quickly utilize new software for office productivity & account management - must have at least moderate familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook or similar software from Apple or Google.
    • Able to handle & balance multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining close attention to detail
    • Take ownership of personal output & always strives to deliver excellence.
    • Thrive in a collaborative, constructive & respectful team environment.
    • Ready to learn & grow at work, & willing to acknowledge mistakes & turn them in to learning experiences.
