Peloton is looking for a hard-working, motivated Senior Financial analyst to partner across our fast-paced Apparel business area along with supporting our Marketing Executives within Brand Marketing, Creative Marketing & Global Communications. The ideal candidate is proactive, driven & resourceful, with strong prioritization skills & a desire to dive into the data. You will be a critical part of a visible, cross-functional team & will help drive strategic decision making as we expand nationally. This person will own business relationships with corporate leaders across the organization & will also partner closely with our accounting & payables teams.


  • Provide analytical/strategic support to Brand Marketing, Creative Marketing, Global Communications & Apparel teams
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly & annual budgeting process for business areas
  • Track business performance against operating plans & prepare monthly, quarterly & year-to-date variance analysis for management & business leads/areas
  • Establish business relationships with department heads & review results with them on a monthly basis. This includes reviewing & advising departmental budget preparation with individual managers & addressing ad hoc financial analysis requests & inquiries
  • Assist in preparation of board of director materials
  • Collaborate with accounting & other finance partners to bridge actual results to plan
  • Provide analysis & insights into variances between actual & expected financial results
  • Develop robust management reporting & define KPIs
  • Help to identify key trends & potential risks & opportunities across marketing areas & the apparel business
  • Develop & improve upon recurring reporting processes while assisting in creation of ad-hoc analyses for cross functional leaders & management
  • Continuously look to increase efficiency through processes automation, where applicable


  • 4+ years in FP&A / corporate finance, strong plus for prior experience managing people
  • Undergraduate degree in finance / economics / accounting / mathematics
  • High aptitude & enthusiasm for complex problem solving utilizing financial modeling & analysis, including advanced Excel & Powerpoint. Advanced experience working with data visualisation tools & data cubes is a plus
  • Must be a proactive & highly organized self-starter, able to work independently & under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication / collaboration skills required; role involves building strong relationships across the organization
  • Enthusiasm for complex problem solving utilizing financial modeling & analysis
  • Strong communicator who can explain complex concepts to non-financial audiences
  • Knowledgeable of functional elements which are important for business profitability in order to influence, drive & positively impact business results
  • Self-starter who is intellectually curious & not afraid to seek out projects independently
  • Prior experience managing cross-functional relationships is a plus
  • Existing ERP knowledge is a plus, especially NetSuite, Hyperion, SAP
