We are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to accelerate building & scaling our innovative systems that support our growing identity platform. In this role, you will build a fully automated infrastructure by leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, & Terraform. The ideal candidate for this role approaches the job with systems engineering discipline, obtains & analyzes data to identify trouble spots & optimization opportunities, & applies software development practices to improve the reliability of CLEARs platform & services. To succeed in this role you need to be passionate about making constant incremental improvements to systems, laser focused on availability & performance, & driven to automate all the things.

What You Will Do:

• Design, build, & evolve our production cloud infrastructure, strategically employing automation, & infrastructure-as-code (IaC)
• Use depth of cloud experience to put together elegant designs that the team will enjoy supporting
• Expertise in incident & problem management including timely problem identification, successful resolution, & root-cause analysis
• Design, build & evolve our code pipelines, designing & building automation in order to enable agile software development, implementing self-service where possible
• Partner with  application development teams & Integrated Operations Center (IOC) to improve efficiency & effectiveness of our monitoring & alerting platform
• Embed & work cross-functionally with Security & Engineering teams 
• Exercise & promote security best practices throughout your workflow

Who You Are:

• You have 5+ years of experience working with & troubleshooting Linux operating systems
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc)
• You are passionate about making better software & continuously improving the development, integration, & deployment processes
• You have experience supporting high traffic & public facing websites, applications, & services
• You have heavily utilized scripting languages (Bash, Perl, Python or Ruby) in your toolkit
• You possess exceptional communication skills - written & verbal & are able to communicate cross functionally with both technical & non technical audiences
• You love problem solving & thrive in environments of both high collaboration & strong autonomy
• Strong working knowledge of AWS services and  & tooling, or another public Cloud
• Strong expertise in monitoring tools (AppDynamics/App Insights/Sumo Logic/etc.)
• Strong experience with containers & container orchestration (Kuberenetes,Fargate, EKS,OpenShift)
