And right now, we're looking for a DevOps Engineer who will join us in our Prague office

What makes DevOps at Similarweb important? 

Production engineers are the backbone of SimilarWeb's operations, ensuring the smooth & efficient collection, processing, & delivery of accurate & up-to-date digital market intelligence to our clients. Their responsibilities span scalability, reliability, security, performance optimization, innovation, collaboration, cost efficiency, & compliance, all of which are critical components of a successful technology-driven business.

What will be your challenges?

• Creating frameworks & tools that will be used by 300+ engineers and have a direct impact on how SimilarWeb delivers SW & data
• Design, build & manage highly available, scalable and robust services
• Managing thousands of servers & containers by automating infrastructure changes & deployments
• Developing & maintaining our logging, monitoring & alerting stacks
• Troubleshooting & mitigating production incidents 

This is the perfect job for someone who has:

• 2+ years of experience developing server-side applications & tooling using Python/Java/Node.js/Go.
• Experience running a large-scale operation on Amazon Web Services/Google Cloud Engine.
• Good knowledge of Web Servers, Load Balancers, Caching Systems, databases, networking, etc.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).

Its a big plus if you have:

• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform & Pulumi
• Experience with Docker & container orchestration solutions such as Nomad & Kubernetes
