Are you passionate about Jira administration? Do you get a thrill when building a new workflow that automates tasks to help teams work more efficiently? Peloton is looking for an experienced Jira administrator looking to work in a challenging & fast-paced environment. As a Jira administrator you will be EITs ambassador for all things Atlassian, in an organization that heavily uses Agile, modified Agile & Waterfall methodologies. You will be responsible for building out workflows, projects, schemas & screen schemes that utilize Atlassian best practices to meet business & stakeholder needs. The ideal candidate will have managed Jira Cloud & Server instances, & will offer recommendations on optimizing & securing workflows & permissions to allow for disparate teams to use Jira & Confluence in a manner that best suits their team.

Jira drives our Agile team work in addition to being used by service orient teams for various functions such as including Incident/Problem management, offboarding & onboarding, Software/Hardware requisition, Project ingestion, & Asset/Discovery of application for audit purposes.

As a Jira administrator in Enterprise IT, you will interact with technical & business teams. You will have hands-on responsibility for the ongoing quality & consistency of solutions, working closely with technical, product & customer service team members within Peloton. Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of JIRA administration experience, supporting small to large enterprise environments
  • Experience administering Atlassian Cloud, Jira Service desk & confluence.
  • Manage all aspects of the Atlassian tool chain including workflows, custom fields, schemes, add-ons & integrations
  • Strong understanding of ITIL & past experience with configuration management database setup / support & workflow management.
  • Experience with Atlassian Datacenter products a plus
  • Experience with Atlassian SSO setup, integration(s).
  • Proficient in ScriptRunner / Groovy / JQL & PowerScripts.
  • Ensure system availability of all Atlassian tools based on defined SLAs
  • Develop metrics dashboards, heatmaps, reports to provide development teams & senior leadership with meaningful operational/performance metrics & status reports.
  • RESTful Web Services experience
  • Ability to balance user requests & business needs against established JIRA governance best practices.
  • Strong verbal, written & social skills.
  • Attention to detail & accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of Networking, DNS, Databases, Exchange & Active Directory, APIs.
  • Perl or Python Scripting.
  • Hands-on experience using JIRA REST APIs for integration with other tools like Slack,, github & Integration/Automation frameworks.
  • Proven track record with Atlassian installations, migrations & upgrades.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills & attention to detail are a must


  • Manage all aspects of the Atlassian tool chain including workflows, custom fields, schemes, add-ons & integrations)
  • Subject matter expert for atlassian  tools (Jira Software, Jira Service Desk, Confluence, Jira Core)
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting tasks on Atlassian nodes including resource utilization & stack trace analysis
  • Build new Jira projects, & author workflows based on user requirements
  • Setup integration between Atlassian & other productivity, developer & analytics tools.
  • Manage the confluence environment & create spaces, pages, page templates as necessary
  • Ensure system availability of all Atlassian tools based on defined SLAs
  • Handle service ticket queue to ensure timely resolution for end user issues
  • Support for s/w deployment & maintenance projects
