The Onboarding Project Managers mandate is simple: to own & improve the process of setting up new hotel units & suites, from facilitating design to photoshoot staging, until each unit is ready to host our guests. Were growing incredibly quickly & need someone who breathes operations, project management, & start-up life to build a team & manage projects of increasing complexity as we grow. In this role, there will be great opportunities for extraordinary personal & professional growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop processes & scale project execution as we grow to 1000+ units
  • Oversee the outfitting of hundreds of hotel units, guiding your team & your partners, & working closely with HQ to ensure on-time & on-budget delivery of each project
  • Expertly negotiate & support vendor contracts while building & maintaining relationships with potential partners, such as local trades, installers, & logistics companies
  • Hire, manage, & develop a world-class onboarding team that will successfully complete the install of all new units while meeting design & operational brand standards
  • Constantly improve the efficiency & cost of the onboarding process, while maintaining the highest level of guest satisfaction & operational excellence
  • Manage the budget associated with each project to reduce cash burn
  • Work closely with the Head of Real Estate to determine when new locations will be added to our portfolio, & with the Operations Manager to ensure new units are guest-ready on time
  • Partner with HQ teams to maintain our inventory management system, receive all necessary assets & remain up-to-date on company initiatives & rollouts

What We're Looking For:

  • A disciplined worker who can DO WHATEVER IT TAKES to get the job done
  • 8-10 years of professional experience, including team management
  • Experience with large-scale project management and/or event coordination
  • A proven ability to handle ambiguity in the absence of defined systems & processes & with minimal supervision
  • A perfectionist with exceptional organizational skills, & a proven track record of prioritizing tasks in order to meet tight deadlines
  • A willingness & enthusiasm to get your hands dirty when needed - be it in making a bed or assembling a sofa
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills, including the ability to identify & convey critical information to stakeholders quickly & precisely
  • A professional presence when interacting with senior management, external clients, & vendors
  • A consummate team player who cultivates a positive culture, coaches the team, & is comfortable managing up & down
  • A creative thinker who challenges assumptions
  • Proficiency with Google Suite; experience with project management applications a plus
  • Past experience with early/mid stage startups, procurement, logistics or supply chain a plus
  • Knowledge of FF&E or architectural/interior finishes
