Senior Front End Engineer at Via In Other

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join & to take a key role. The position is to be part of a front end development team responsible for Vias Rider/ Agent Management page by building cutting-edge E2E solutions & scalable infrastructure to deliver Vias map layers editing to all business customers.

Youll work closely with our designers & product managers to understand user needs, & then build & iterate on technical solutions that address them. You'll work across the stack, using different technologies for different projects. Youll also build & maintain our processes & tools, to keep our productivity & code quality high.

Our stack includes React, Javascript & Typescript. However, it's also important to us that you have experience with full-stack, user-centric development (Python or other BE technologies are a plus).

Significant experience with GIS related applications would be considered a strong benefit.

What Youll Do:

Build pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across different web applications
Design & implement solutions by developing server & client technologies
Lead a frontend development methodology of excellence
Leverage your past experience with frontend architecture & design patterns into the development of a new web application that is taking its first steps into large scale application
Introduce modern web development technologies, set high standards & drive best practices for backend development for web applications
Act as a mentor that drives the team forward

Who You Are:

4+ years of frontend programming experience,React - highly desirable
Strong knowledge of Javascript & Typescript
Fast learner: you can quickly master concepts, disciplines & methods.
Team player, great communication skills
Experience working with mapping data - a big advantage
Experience building large-scale & web infrastructure applications or similar experience.
You are fluent in English
