Job Description

Position Summary:

In this role, you are a core member of the Referrals team, & will organize, manage & grow Guardant Health's biopharma patient referrals service, which helps connect physicians & their patients with specific clinical trials based on the genomic alterations found using Guardant360.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Referrals team to build strong partnerships with biopharma clients to support their trial's needs.
  • Responsible for the overall management & coordinationof physician contractors (Clinical Trial Advisors, CTAs) including onboarding, training, & scheduling/tracking/reconciling of hours.You will be the primary contact for the CTAs.
  • Organize & oversee the administrative/operational aspects of CTA's & their referral communication activities.
  • Monitor the CTA staff in effective & efficient trial match outreach to ordering physicians via Salesforce software
    • Provide daily operational support to Clinical Trial Advisors
    • Provide training as necessary through consistent needs analysis
    • Evaluate & report on effectiveness of clinical trial outreach, & CTA performance
    • Ensure adherence to departmental policies & procedures.
    • Ensure all calls & communications are in compliance with corporate & professional standards, state & federal regulatory requirements
  • Work directly with the Referral team & collaborating with internal cross functional groups to develop the Clinical Referrals Program. (ie; QA, legal, Accounts Payable, IT, Product Development)
  • Think strategically about ways to optimize the Referrals Program to increase the enrollment rate of cancer patients found with targetable mutation & matched to contracted trials.
  • Ensure adherence to departmental policies & procedures.
  • Ensure calls & communications are in compliance with professional standards, state & federal regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with legal & compliance standards, oversee staff training & career development programs.
  • Provide exceptional support to the Guardant Health clinical trials advisory team of physicians & their customers - both biopharma companies & ordering physicians, to make the referral process as organized, efficient, & effective as possible.

Education & Experience

  • You have a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education & experience in healthcare.
  • You understand medical terminology, & having a basic understanding of cancer,cancer genomics, & FDA regulations & clinical trials is a plus.
  • You are able to work as part of a team comprised of internal employees, customers, contractors & managers.
  • You work with self-discipline, good judgment & independence in a dynamic office setting.
  • You have solid experience using Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office, can quickly learn new software applications, & are comfortable utilizing communication tools such as videoconferencing, instant messaging,

Additional Information

Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies & use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, & biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
