In this role you will collaborate across the company, analyzing data, creating insights & helping PulsePoint make data-driven business decisions in the health space. This position reports to the Director of Analytics.

Things we'll expect from you:

  • Evaluate, develop & maintain target audience scoring & segmentation models for healthcare consumer activation. Improve upon existing methodologies by developing new data sources, testing model enhancements, & fine-tuning model parameters. Optimize results through predictive modeling & descriptive analytics. Create performance metrics & tracking processes to measure the effectiveness of the predictive modeling & customer segmentation efforts
  • Work closely with engineering teams to update or create optimization strategies for reaching health audiences & driving outcomes
  • Design algorithms that identify premium inventory to maximize marketing effectiveness for our Buyers & Advertisers
  • Leverage data to develop new insights with the goal of improving planning, deliverables, growth & efficiency
  • Assess business needs & implement statistical methods such as clustering & segmentation techniques, regression, & propensity modeling to solve specific business problems

Some things we're looking for:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science or similar Quantitative Field
  • Fluency in SQL & other programming languages (Python, R, Java). Experience with Hive, Impala, Spark a plus
  • Experience performing analysis on large datasets
  • 3-4 years of prior experience & awareness of predictive analytics/modeling & track record of analytic thinking & consultative problem solving highly desired
  • A passion for problem-solving, comfort with ambiguity & creativity
  • Self-sufficiency with leading technologies to create & design original tools for big-data analysis/visualization
