The Multimedia Assistant Editor will be the first role of its kind at Newsela. You will source, edit & create images, working closely with freelancers & staff members on the Content Team to beautify the stories we run each week. As the Assistant Editor of Multimedia, you will lead the charge in organizing, simplifying & innovating our multimedia offerings including (but not limited to): science graphics, statistical charts, fiction illustrations, news interactives, historical timelines, infographics, informative videos & more.
