What Youll Do
As the Head of APAC Channel Sales & Partnerships, you will be responsible for defining, managing, & executing the overall channel strategy & partner plan for Cloudflare in APAC. This leadership role will be key in driving the overall growth & revenue of the company in the region. Your focus will be on driving partnerships, partner leverage, partner sales & nurturing those relationships.
Based in Singapore & reporting to the Head of Sales, APAC you will collaborate closely with the APAC Sales organisation & global leadership.
You will manage a team of Channel Account Managers based in various territories around APAC including ANZ, ASEAN, North Asia, India.
You will assess APAC Market coverage needs & identify key players & partners while building an effective partner strategy, in conjunction with Corporate Strategy, to support the overall APAC go-to-market model & revenue. You'll develop & implement an effective, scalable, motivating channel program, again in conjunction with Corporate Strategy, including commercial terms, required channel enablement elements & ongoing channel management & support capabilities.
In addition, you will operationalise the channel sales function with appropriate joint business planning for each channel partner including metrics & measurement, enablement programs, marketing, communications & other key elements of managing the growing channel business across APAC.
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge & experience
- 10+ years of relevant Sales Management Channel experience, preferably in a similar industry such as network security & CDNs.
- Deep experience & relationships with APAC Channel Partner community such as: large systems integrators, MSPs, distributors & VARs; able to establish, build & grow strong relationships.
- Sales growth oriented leader who drives rapid change & growth.
- Exceptional collaboration, relationship-building & interpersonal skills with the ability to develop working relationships at all levels of management, both inside & outside Cloudflare.
- Ability to define, develop & lead channel programs in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent presentation, verbal & written communication skills; a highly effective influencer.
- Curious, empathetic, fast learner who thrives in a high growth, continuous change environment.
- Local Asian language skills desirable but not mandatory
- Travel requirements > 40%
