CarGurus is hiring an organized, highly motivated Senior Business Operations Associate, Digital Retail to support the Digital Retail efforts across the organization! You will work cross-functionally to implement critical business initiatives. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside leadership teams in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Finance, & Product. Youll not only be helping to guide the strategy, but youll also be gaining operational experience in leading projects through to completion. A successful candidate will have strong analytical & presentation skills & an ability to work cross-functionally to implement change. We are looking for thoughtful, daringly curious candidates who can dive into sophisticated data & draw insightful conclusions. By helping to clarify elements of our strategy you will be having a visible & real world impact on across a wide range of CarGurus business.

What Youll Do:

  • Extracts key insights from analyses & presents findings in a compelling way to inform critical business decisions
  • Compiles regular reporting deliverables & memos for senior leadership
  • Works directly with functional leaders to help guide the strategic direction of our Digital Retail business.
  • Manages a variety of high-visibility, strategic projects across Digital Retail. An ability to influence teams who are not direct reports is critical to success
  • Understand the performance of existing products & see opportunities for new product offerings
  • Recommends performance improvement ideas gathering data & partnering with product, engineering, marketing, sales, & finance departments to grow our business
  • Continuously monitors business fundamentals. Proactively discovers problems before they occur & identifies opportunities that move the business forward

Who You Are:

  • 2-4 years of proven experience in a strategy or management consultant role (experience in consumer internet, digital marketing or SaaS product data a plus)
  • Knowledge of BI & reporting tools, or demonstrated ability in learning new tool
  • Ability to influence multiple partners & adopt new data-driven approaches to achieve shared business goals & drive organizational change
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking skills & a love of data & analysis
  • Outstanding PowerPoint & Excel skills
  • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail
  • Proven track-record of working independently & thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Relentless passion for getting things done
  • SalesForce & BI (Looker) experience a plus
