Primary responsibilities include strategic HR support to assigned departments within the organization. Accountable for developing strong relationships with managers & employees to maximize the level & effectiveness of our team.
Business Partnership: Understand supported businesses/functions to be able to translate the strategic & tactical business plans into people-oriented strategic & operational plans. Evaluate & advise on the impact of long-range planning of new programs/strategies as those items impact the attraction, motivation, development & retention of the team.
Performance Management: Support the performance management process to ensure employees & managers are trained on the performance management tool & work with management & staff to facilitate accomplishment of goal setting & development plans. Partner with managers to ensure appropriate development plans are in place to support employees objectives.
Organizational Planning & Development: Function as an objective partner to management with regard to organizational issues which impact people including organizational structure, managing change, promotions, job titles, career & succession planning. Develop & implement effective communication plans to ensure optimal organizational impact.
Employee Relations: Work with management teams & employees to coach & facilitate problem solving & develop, implement, & administer employee relations solutions that will contribute to a positive & progressive work environment.
Recruiting & Retention: Assist & support with activities including candidate selection to support business objectives. Partner with managers to define job profiles, interviewing candidates, & providing recommendations on the selection of candidates. Closely monitor the New Hire 90-Day period & measure engagement & retention for supported businesses/functions.
Successful candidates will meet the following:
- Bachelors degree in related field.
- Minimum of 5 years human resources experience required, including business partnership, strategic HR, performance management, organizational design, compensation, & employee relations.
- Collaborative, innovative & customer-focused approach, with a strong drive for talent development.
- Strong organizational, communication, & leadership skills.
- PHR/SPHR designation a plus.
