Girls Who Code is an international non-profit organization working to close the gender gap in technology. Through our free Summer Immersion Program, Self-Paced Program, & Clubs Program, we are leading the movement to inspire, educate, & equip young women with the skills to pursue careers in technology fields. Girls Who Code is searching for a dynamic, results-oriented Community Partnerships & Outreach Manager to develop & execute recruitment strategies to drive Girls Who Code programmatic expansion.
The Manager of Community Partnerships & Outreach cultivates & expands strategic partnerships with school districts, departments of education, library networks, & community based organizations within an assigned region of the country. In addition to supporting the full Community Partnerships & Outreach Team by building national expansion strategic initiatives, they will also lead the development & execution of the outreach strategy for their territory with the support of regional part-time team members. The Manager's primary focus will be to recruit community partners & individual leads to launch Girls Who Code Clubs. Additionally, they will be responsible for driving the student recruitment process for Girls Who Code's Summer Immersion Program & Self-Paced Program.
The ideal candidate has at least three (3) years of demonstrated experience cultivating, building & maintaining high-impact school & community partner relationships, and/or experience in large-scale outreach, admissions, talent recruitment, account management, business development, or community organizing. They bring experience working with diverse stakeholders of students, families, educators, & schools, & a passion for connecting girls with high quality, free, computer science opportunities. They thrive in a fast-paced innovative environment & are driven by meeting & exceeding regional expansion goals.
This is a full-time permanent salaried position to start as soon as possible.
