Netflix announced the creation of the first global Internet TV network two years ago & now operates in 190 countries, but our journey has just begun. As our original content slate grows, we have to constantly innovate on how we promote it to both our members & non-members.
A big part of this promotional story involves video. We need to scale out our systems to produce short-form video in dozens of different languages, with users across the entire world. As our partners are innovating & thinking about new methods for video promotion, we have to keep pace & make sure it's feasible at Netflix's scale.
We're looking for someone to lead the engineering team responsible for building the systems to help localize video, assemble cuts, identify exciting scenes, & more. You will hire star performers to the team while inspiring & motivating the seasoned engineers on the team. You will craft partnerships with product managers, algorithm researchers, creative producers, & other engineering teams.
