About the Role

We are looking for an Inside Cloud Alliances Manager to join our growing Channels team. In this role, you will be part of a team focused on growing Cockroach Labs Cloud & Marketplace partnerships through sales engagement, training, & enablement.  You will act as the program manager to coordinate the execution of our co-sell objectives.  You will work closely with the Head of Channel Sales & other members of the team to deliver significant growth.

You Will

  • Contribute to & execute business development strategy, policies, objectives & initiatives to achieve revenue, profit & growth targets.
  • Assist in the management of GTM activity for & with Cloud partners.
  • Participate in expanding relationships with GCP, AWS or Azure.
  • Contribute to creation & management of the partner revenue pipeline.  Provide accurate & timely forecasts, leveraging Salesforce & other company tools.

The Expectations

In your first 30 days, you will learn about CockroachDB & become proficient in the product & our approach to partnerships. We believe that it is necessary for you to build this foundation so you can successfully grasp Cockroach Labs' strategy. Upon completion of your first month, you will have the ability to effectively participate in conversations with partners.

After 60 days, you'll be learning systems associated to & contributing to conversations with the partners. You will also be assisting in field engagement & enablement efforts with the partners.

Within 90 days, you will be proactively leading the engagement & enablement efforts as well as ensuring systems are updated to reflect enablement, co-sell, & pipeline activities. You will also be participating in go-to-market planning & business reviews with partners.

You Have

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant sales/business development or channel sales experience.
  • Experience working in a sales operations and/or strategy role.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving sales activities with partners.
  • Strong process orientation & ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, including ability to communicate both internally & with partners & customers.

Jen has more than 25 years of software channel experience.  During that time, she has defined & executed programs targeting Cloud, system integrator, reseller, & technology partners for public & private organizations.  She also built global teams to support those partnerships. Prior to joining Cockroach, She held channel leadership roles with Turbonomic, HashiCorp, Hortonworks, Novell, Vistaprint, Allaire, & Cognos & has received CRN's Women of the Channel (2019, 2018, 2017), Channel Chief (2022, 2018), & Power 100 (2017) awards.
