You ideally have three to five years of experience working with web technologies. We write most of our core systems in Ruby & React, but we are flexible on your specific experience; we care more about general engineering acumen than any specific tech.  If you have built a service before & had it run in production at scale, that would be very ideal. We would be really impressed if you had experience in eCommerce, payment systems, or the food & beverage technology space.

But, Drizly isn't just another delivery service; our team is building features to make the consumer experience unique & valuable, as we scale the platform to reach every alcohol consumer in the United States.

In this Senior Software Engineer role, you will be an integral part of the engineering team, responsible for executing on our product roadmaps against the front-end of our consumer & retailer (think liquor store operations) tools with aggressive timelines during rapid growth. By partnering closely with product managers, customer experience, sales, & account management teams, you will balance having your hands on the keyboard” with leading design discussions for large projects & informing some of our largest decisions. You will also recommend new ways of doing things as we expect Senior Software Engineers to raise the bar for the team.
