FanDuel Group is looking to add to its Legal team a Compliance Manager to manage its Gaming Investigations Unit (GIU), which is responsible for a variety of regulatory compliance activities, including customer due diligence, internal investigations, investigations of potentially suspicious customer behavior, anti-money laundering, sanctions, anti-bribery & state gaming compliance & operationalization of procedures.

The Compliance Manager will manage a team of Compliance Analysts, track & report on process execution, & develop & support adherence to key principles related to compliance, investigations & confidentiality. This role will report into the Director, Legal, Compliance & Risk, & sits within the FanDuel Legal function.

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Manage the Gaming Investigations Unit on a day-to-day basis & work with the Director, Legal, Compliance & Risk, to develop its strategy & standard operating procedures
  • Ensure customer due diligence, investigations, & related activities are performed efficiently, thoroughly & accurately, with all required confidentiality maintained
  • Provide operational reporting & tracking & other metrics that can be effectively used in risk-based reporting for senior management
  • Implement compliance-related procedures
  • Develop key institutional knowledge of go-to contacts & strong relationships in functions key to investigations & procedure execution, including Fraud Operations, Payments, & Customer Service, & provide guidance to GIU team members on how to perform investigations

What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 3-6 years working in the compliance function of a highly regulated financial (or comparable) institution
  • Experience managing & mentoring direct reports
  • Experience working at a law firm, or in law enforcement or investigations a plus
  • Demonstrated aptitude for process execution & reporting
  • Passion to work hard in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • An exceptional team builder & team player
