As a Senior Manager, Partner Event Marketing, you lead our centre of expertise focused on partner facing event, exhibition & experiential strategy. You will take ownership of all topics related to experiential marketing as a vehicle to deliver results, event investment & objective setting, creative & program ideation, concept & pitching, partnering with event delivery teams to deliver, executive stakeholder management to deliver on expectations & event scorecard, impact evaluation & delivery.

Your ability to manage a wide range of topics & stakeholder levels is critical to your success: particularly being able to influence to get buy in for new program types, creative concepts & understanding of business impact & outcomes resulting from investments.

You will be a senior strategic leader within the partner marketing organisation, you will come with extensive & relevant experience in creating strategies & deploying marketing activities as a service in a complex, matrix environment, particularly working with advice groups, steering committees to achieve results.

Key Responsibilities

Support the business with expert consultancy on partner facing experiential marketing strategy

  • Deliver on all briefs where experiential marketing will support objective achievement
  • Help business partners set appropriate budgets, objectives & expectations for events
  • Ensure all event briefs have a solid creative concept & narrative aligned with objectives
  • Partner with event delivery to offer & end to end event plan for sign-of
  • Translate business partner briefs into expert delivery of practical solutions/delivery

Align event strategy & creative to be an aligned experience with other marketing channels

  • Build & maintain experiential marketing brand book which is aligned with overall brand book
  • Leverage frameworks & processes to land all marketing activities as one experience
  • Partner with business to align experiential activation within overarching marketing calendar
  • Own the creative sign-off processes related to experiential delivery ensuring single experience
  • Use influence to ensure key collaborations remain committed to success

Empower partner marketing teams for expert consultancy

  • Build & develop a team with depth of expertise across event, exhibition, in market activations, sponsorship & partnership marketing strategies
  • Proactively propose in market opportunities to channel innovators to benefit our internal business partners
  • Build expert consultancy approaches & work with internal clients to leverage marketing expertise in strategy creation
  • Demonstrate expertise through developing a structure for well positioned pitches to business partners for solutions


Elevate current marketing practices through new approaches/technologies

  • Champion new approaches & programs to innovate experiential marketing strategies
  • Champion new approaches to create alignment & commitment to new program ideas
  • In partnership, build a workflow between strategy, creative & delivery to achieve the highest possible results
  • Uses outside-in approach to generate production ideas that elevate performance
  • Be the advocate for a structured approach to managing investments with strong financial & return accountability

Experience & Background

  • A minimum of 10-years in a multinational company working in event/experiential marketing
  • Work experience has included time in marketing or B2B field environment
  • Recent examples of delivering a complex set of events, exhibition & field marketing setups
  • Strong abilities across business & data reporting
  • Preferred experience working in headquarters type environment
  • Experience in localisation, transcreation & multilingual strategies is a plus
