THE POSITION

We are looking for a Sports Content Senior Director who will drive Talent & Content strategies for the group. The role will be instrumental in driving growth & market penetration of our content initiatives. Reporting to the GM/VP of Sports Content this is an impactful role that will help shape the long-term strategic direction of our content ecosystems. The Sports Content Senior Director will be responsible for overseeing FanDuel Groups talent & content strategies.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Direct FanDuel Group's key vertical content priorities & talent integration to
  • Help drive the strategy designed to attract & retain more customers to FanDuel Group's experiences through all channels including but not limited to video, owned & operated websites, social media, email, & organic search
  • Help FanDuel Group understand & interpret the behavior of its users & the content they consume.
  • Manage the teams effectively while creating positive culture that aligns to FanDuel core values
  • Track progress in daily & weekly reports across various metrics
  • Use data & best practices to spot opportunities & refine strategies
  • Collaborate with many different internal groups across marketing, product, & various commercial teams to drive positive outcomes for the business
  • Work with external content partners, talent & vendors to achieve group & company goals
  • Explore new ideas & concepts to further develop how FanDuel Group's offerings drive people to consume stories worthy of their time & attention

THE STATS

What were looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in content, editorial, strategy, talent management & business
  • Track record working across teams & designing & managing projects to completion
  • Deep understanding of talent, content & marketing strategies as well as social media platforms & their respective engagement strategies
  • A data-driven approach & ability to use data to drive decision making
  • Willingness to experiment & adapt to fast-paced environments
  • Prior experience in publishing & media is preferable, but a passion for great content is key
  • Positive, contagious energy
  • Love for sports is a plus
