About the Role

The Senior Program Manager of Legal Systems will be responsible for the execution of the process, programs, & technology for global projects, dedicated to assisting with the planning, development, communication, & implementation of the teams programs that span across business functions, product line, & regions across the globe. The successful candidate will act as an advisor to Legal Leadership, Executive Management. They will be responsible for establishing project execution frameworks, identifying process improvement & optimization opportunities in order to ensure all project objectives meet expectations & align with the organization goals required to support a hyper-growth, dynamic environment & fulfill WeWorks mission to create a world where people work to make a life, not just a living.

Requirements

  • Establish effective governance, engagement, & oversight across the organization to ensure organizational business goals are defined, prioritized, monitored, & communicated at regular reporting cadences.

  • Lead, influence, & motivate cross-functional stakeholders at varying leadership levels & deliver business value through standardized methodologies, technology, & best practices in project delivery.

  • Demonstrate the ability to partner with Executive Leadership in a matrixed organization in order to execute the Legal organizational strategy by driving key decisions, resolving complex problems, & meeting/exceeding all expectations.

Execution of Tasks

  • Demonstrable experience adhering to tight schedules & working with others to ensure everyone is on track to reach their assigned goals within the allocated time frame

  • Design & implement technology strategy that furthers the strategic goals of the Legal Team

  • Prioritizes technology investment based on legal service delivery goals

  • Design & execute process across teams, products, & services to deliver project scope by utilizing expertise in project management methodologies, tools, & techniques.

  • Contribute to the planning, development, & global implementation of the cross-functional Legal Systems transformation projects across the entire company

  • Deliver complete project solutions or significant components of larger, more complex projects or programs utilizing the Agile Mindset.

  • Design project execution around motivated teams iteratively driving to a common goal & focusing on continuous improvement.

  • Responsible for developing & overseeing technology usage, creation, storage, & sharing of information (e.g., legal research, transactional documents, historical information

Skills & Professional Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, business, or a related discipline required.
    Experience leading complex global business transformation projects in an Executive facing role.

  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience, with a minimum of 1 year as a consultant responsible for transformative project delivery at either a best-in-class global company or high growth startup.

  • Experience managing large sized projects or programs or a portfolio of large projects where there is significant complexity, visibility, priority, & risk to the business.

  • Track record of regular interaction with senior-level executives is required.

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully transforming global enterprise business processes that touch multiple corporate functions.

  • Experience with SDLC, ITIL, Agile, Sarbanes-Oxley Technology Controls required.

  • Experience with G-Suite, Atlassian, Slack, Zoom, NetDocuments, SimpleLegal, & contract management solutions are highly desirable.

  • Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma & Agile recommended
