As we continue to build out the Pattern marketing team, we're looking for a conceptually strong copywriter skilled at balancing the needs of growth & brand & has experience working across a wide range of channelsincluding, but not limited to, digital marketing (paid social, email, display, digital experiences, etc.), product packaging, internal communication, & video content.

Reporting to the Head of Brand Marketing, this role will be responsible for bringing the voice behind each Pattern brand to life. This is a remote position, based in the United States.


  • Collaborate with creative team members to determine the conceptual & copy direction of Patterns branding, marketing, & advertising initiatives 
  • Brainstorms, concept, collaborate, & present innovative creative marketing & advertising work that garner buy-in while netting measurable results 
  • Translate creative direction & copy points from creative briefs into engaging & effective copy concepts 
  • Support growth team in testing & optimizing ad headlines & CTAs for conversion & click through
  • Be a steward of & maintain the Pattern brand in all creative produced in-house
  • Must be a team player, able to work within budgets & tight deadlines on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications & Attributes

  • At least 4 years of experience in an advertising or in-house creative role 
  • Experience with consumer product brands is preferred 
  • Experience in both print & digital marketing/advertising 
  • Mastery of written communication, both short-and long-form 
  • Proven creative ability 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to solve problems, even when they are not fully defined 
  • Ability to present & sell creative ideas 
  • A solid understanding of marketing & advertising principles 
  • An exceptional copywriting portfolio website 
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills 
  • Accuracy & attention to detail 
  • Ability to actively contribute to strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development & creative execution
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
