We are looking for a Program Manager.

Responsibilities

This role will include supporting the Product, Design, UXR & Engineering teams as they seek new opportunities for problems to be solved.  This is achieved by:

• Ensuring resource allocation is managed flexibly & appropriately
• Providing collation of Qual & Quant data so it can be sourced & extracted to support high quality product decision making
• Collaborating with Engineering Managers  to understand technical proposals & implications to the wider program
• Supporting release management schedule & communication of key milestones for GTM planning on behalf of the wider SoundCloud organization
• Managing the OKR framework for the SoundCloud management team & ensure all metrics are communicated, understood & are understood within product teams
• Supporting the product team in their definition of Product OKRs, providing collaboration & communication of product narratives within the OKR structure

On a day-to-day basis you will partner with the wider SoundCloud Management team to support:

• Program dependency tracking (we consider dependencies opportunities for Product iteration & as such require swift communication & collaboration with the Product, UXR/UX, Technical Program & Engineering teams.)
• OKR tracking & reporting weekly for the SoundCloud EPD Leadership team
• Resource management decision making to support Management team appropriately
• Wider communication to key stakeholders (hi/lo etc)

Your Experience

• You excel in finding a balance between identifying strategic value & executional excellence
• You are collaborative & proactive with a diverse group of leaders: Engineering Product & Design, & seek out points of view but can rationalize a path forward when the landscape is ambiguous
• You have deep experience collaborating within design processes, engineering stacks & product development techniques, including Multivariate testing.  This enables you to understand constraints, have your own point of view on paths forward when blockers occur, but also be flexible to alternative approaches
• You are prepared to work to empower the  product & engineering scrum teams to prioritise their solutions, remaining flexible in your support of them whilst tracking & communicating effectively outside of the teams to ensure dependencies are understood & proactively managed.
