Hi, we're Oscar. Were hiring an Associate to join our Diversity Programs team.

About the role:

The Diversity Programs Associate will partner closely with operational leads across the People Team, especially People Programs (Learning & Development, Performance Management, Culture & Engagement) to ensure operations across functions work together to deliver outcomes. Theyll also work closely with leaders across the company to guide or liaise on Diversity projects & programs in service of both our workforce & members.

You will report into the Director, Diversity. This is a remote role, you will work remotely in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, New York. Note, this list of states is subject to change.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Diversity processes, programs, & events.   
  • Work closely with the Director of Diversity to execute on the roadmap. Ensure your stakeholders are bought in & that your team members understand your priorities.
  • Partner with the Employee Resource Groups (ERG) so they have consistent leadership & guidance, & feel integrated in the Oscar culture.
  • Provide leadership within the ERG Leadership Committee to ensure the group has a focused plan & trajectory.
  • As needed, work with the communications team, People leadership, & company leadership to craft messaging in response to social issues that impact the well-being of our employees.

Requirements:

  • Experience building & leading people/HR programs and/or processes, preferably in D&I.
  • Experience partnering with & advising colleagues.
  • Minimum of 3+ years corporate experience, preferably in large, complex organizations; tech-focused organizations, and/or fast scaling organizations.
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in leading programs & processes.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of professional experience.

Bonus points:

  • Masters degree or advanced certifications are a plus.
