The Director, Business Operations will be a key contributor to the success of Slices growth. You will be responsible for developing & executing our market-level strategies, & will own the performance of a region. The ideal candidate will be results-focused, analytical, creative, & a strong communicator. The role reports to the VP, Go-to-Market. 

What youll do:

  • Monitor your regions marketplace performance; identify gaps & develop tactics to improve overall performance
  • Identify local market growth opportunities & work with key cross-functional teams (including Product, Marketing, Sales) to develop & execute plans
  • Understand key drivers of customer experience & work with Account Management to identify highest ROI opportunities with existing Shops
  • Partner with Sales to determine shifts or changes in shop-level prioritization based on local market needs
  • Develop market-level Customer & Shop acquisition & engagement strategies
  • Identify opportunities for local marketing initiatives; drive tactics alongside other cross-functional teams
  • Monitor competitive environment & identify / drive market-level tactics 
  • Communicate to senior leaders on key initiatives & associated impacts

What were looking for: 

  • 8-10 years experience in management consulting, investment banking, operations, or a related field; startup experience a plus
  • 4-5 years experience managing a team or in a leadership role
  • A track record of driving results & achieving goals
  • Strong analytical skills with experience modeling program impacts, measuring results, & using data to make decisions
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Strong collaboration & interpersonal skills. You have a track record of effectively working with a variety of key players across the organization, such as product, engineering, marketing, analytics, & finance
  • Ability to drive multiple initiatives at one time, adapt to evolving priorities, & work in a fast-paced environment
