Earthport is a financial technology business that provides cross-border payment processing services to banks & payments businesses across 6 continents through its global network.

In this role, you will be required to acquire & develop effective partner relationships with our payment partners, both Bank & Non-bank Financial Institutions across [region].

What we expect of you, day to day...

Oversee & monitor the end to end process of selection to successful on-boarding of new partners, working with technical, operational & commercial teams to resolve any issues & manage the successful completion in accordance with agreed timetable.

Agree & manage a programme of dual supply on all routes with regular volume to ensure route resilience & effective cost optimization

Identify, select & contract new payment partners in collaboration with the central network team & in accordance with the network standards & performance criteria. Provide clear, complete, accurate & compelling information about the process, criteria, expected standards of network partners.

Agree with central Bank Partner Network team & Regional Management; & manage delivery of a programme of target new bank partners to replace non-bank partners on all routes, wherever possible.

Work with sales/ account managers to understand route demand from current & new clients. Work in partnership with sales team to attend select client meetings to deliver compelling value proposition relating to routes, local capabilities, pricing linked to volumes etc.

Develop & maintain senior relationships with relevant management personnel in banking & non-banking partner businesses. Through structured, professional, informed & professional dialogue demonstrate Earthport as a highly experienced, credible & compelling payment banking partner worthy of relationships at senior levels of its partner companies

Work with wider Bank Partner Network team & sales & marketing, to identify, plan & deliver effective marketing & brand building events & engagements with clients & partners.

About the Team

This is the Bank Network Partner team. The proposed headcount is to be confirmed as the business goes through a period of growth.

Qualifications

What we're after?

  • Degree level schooling, or equivalent professional experience
  • Mid to senior level ofrelevant experience in a global bank or payment company
  • Experience in dealing with banks across Asia
  • Knowledge of Global Payments
  • Experience in Sales & Business Development
  • Ability to Influence & build relationship with financial institutions in the region
  • Track record of business development & identification of potential partners
  • Knowledge of the payment systems in the region
  • Basic credit skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with strong English business language
  • Problem solving & resolving conflicts; perseverance & patience
  • Team player considerate of the bigger picture & whole team purpose & priorities
  • A strong & confident individual operator capable of taking informed decisions
