Senior Engagement Manager
Cohesity is a hyper-growth start-up. We are offering an exciting opportunity to drive services. The Engagement Manager plays a critical role in ensuring overall growth & success for Cohesity customers & plays an essential role in growing our practice. This role is responsible for our bidding process of large, complex proposals from architectural blueprints for services solutions to processes & deployment/integration consulting; a key to overall customer satisfaction. This position is an integral part of the sales cycle, collaborating with the Account teams to expand the content & depth of Cohesity services Additionally this role provides oversight of implementations to mitigate risk. The successful person has a track record of success, engaging with our customers, providing options to improve best practices while maintaining the highest quality customer service.
Specific Job Duties
Manage the bid submission process from initial contact through contract signature.
Provide both programmatic & day to day updates to RFP language
Validates with architects/consultants the technical solutions validity
Able to work in a co-sell model with account teams
Strong balance of collaborative & self-starter mentality; able to own your business while also working well the teams
Has ownership of our customers Services journey from pre-sales to in production
Customer facing role with working knowledge of enterprise customers
Able to act as a subject-matter expert on Cohesity solutions
Capture new features requirements to expand sales opportunities
Participate in the development of Cohesity Professional Services practice
Travel Requirement to supported customers headquarters when necessary (up to 50% travel).
Minimum Qualifications Required
BS/BA or equivalent experience 5+ years proven experience scoping & selling professional services
Self starter who achieves results & collaborates
Exceptional organizational & planning skills
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally & in writing, & to work effectively with a diverse community with a focus on rapport building.
Proven track record of scoping & winning services in an enterprise environment.
Extensive working knowledge in designing, developing, implementing, & evaluating professional services offers including curricula, & methodology.
Ability to effectively work in a highly ambiguous environment & within cross-functional teams across the organization & handle objections
