delivery.com is currently seeking a Product Manager to join our NYC team & work with star engineers, designers, & operators in a fast-growing environment. The role demands a mix of great technical depth, principled thinking, & well-honed product judgment. Given the three-sided nature of our business, this leader will not have the luxury of having tunnel-vision for any one area; rather, you will need to think holistically & understand the business deeply to set the right long-term strategy for the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Build product strategy encompassing sales, marketing, operations, & product experience for assigned areas
  • Lead the ideation, technical development, launch, & support of innovative products
  • Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution
  • Integrate usability studies, research, & market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
  • Define & analyze metrics that ensure the success of products
  • Monitor the performance of your focus area & measure the impact of your product enhancements
  • Communicate performance metrics to key stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Act as product owner providing clarity & guidance to development organized as Scrum teams

Requirements:

  • Team player with the ability to work with both technical & non-technical teams to drive the business goals forward
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent, with 2-5 years of product management experience, preferably in e-commerce and/or inventory management/order dispatch technology 
  • Experience working with APIs/developer platforms; e-commerce technology a plus 
  • Experience working on core/platform and/or infrastructure-type projects 
  • Customer-centric orientation with a proven track record of developing & acting on customer insights
  • Ability to define opportunities & problems, collect & analyze data, establish facts & make valid conclusions
  • Technical background, or technical orientation (enough to be dangerous)
  • Excellent interpersonal & negotiation skills; ability to work successfully with teams both internally across the organization, from Engineering, Commercial & Sales, Customer Support teams through Senior Leadership & externally with vendors, partners, & customers 
  • Ability to prioritize among competing opportunities, balancing stakeholder needs with business & product priorities, & the ability to clearly articulate the rationale behind product decisions
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, POS, ordering, voice provider, dispatch, billing platforms & tools like Kustomer, UJET, Olo, Ordermark, Chowly, Bringg, Netsuite or equivalent platforms & tools is a big plus
