THE POSITION:

The FanDuel team is looking for a Fraud Solutions Manager to assist in issue resolution, fraud/risk assessment ownership, & management of all Fraud Prevention solutions for FanDuels suite of products. The Fraud Solutions Manager plays an important role for the Fraud Team by serving as both a subject matter & industry expert, with a focus on FanDuels internal & external solutions. The role requires adaptability to the constant shifting of trends & landscape of the overall fraud business from end to end. Excellent communication skills are required to navigate and influence internal & external partners & clients. Strong project management skillsets are required to support concept to implementation of solution related initiatives.  In addition, you will be required to deliver meaningful & timely business updates & performance reviews communicating the health of the business, focused on performance & quality.

THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Manage Fraud initiatives from concept to implementation to mitigate fraud risk & enhance controls, including vendor selection & implementation.  
  • Provide tactical Fraud Prevention support for the timely identification & mitigation of emerging fraud trends as well as strategic initiatives requiring Fraud Prevention engagement.
  • Evaluate potential control enhancements which will improve business controls or reduce impacts to good customers. 
  • Serve as liaison & work with cross functional teams, peer fraud partners, & FanDuel department leads in Commercial, Risk, Compliance, & other functional business partners to optimize business strategies & processes.
  • Stay up to date on latest fraud trends & communicate the results to the business & Fraud Prevention peers & senior management.
  • Understand, speak to & draft fraud initiative requests, fraud loss forecasts & support teams annual planning needs.
  • Ability to lead, navigate independently, influence, prioritize & make effective decisions to drive the business to success.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication & problem management skills required to ensure expectations are managed appropriately.
  • Candidate will be able to translate business needs into high level business requirements that can be used as a base line to develop detailed feature requirements by internal & external implementation teams.
  • Makes decisions in a timely manner, balancing a need for action with a need for analysis.

THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Fraud Prevention experience strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in virtual account wallets, with specific exposure in e-commerce risk management.
  • Direct experience in high-risk account management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal, required.
  • Competency in SQL & Microsoft Excel required.
  • Risk assessment analysis & experience preferred.
  • Candidate must be comfortable in & excel at working in a fast paced environment, managing multiple tasks, & changing priorities.
