The role

As Demand Generation Manager - UK&I & Northern Europe you will manage demand generation programs for the UK&I & support our expansion in Northern Europe. 

This is an individual contributor role focused on generating marketing qualified accounts (MQAs) that convert, via our SDR & sales team, into pipeline & bookings. 

This role is ideal for a growth-minded marketer experienced in targeting upper small business, mid-market & enterprise sized companies. You will be based in the London office, with the flexibility to work from home & travel as needed. 

You will report to the Senior Demand Generation Manager, Northern Europe & work closely with the UK&I General Manager & wider sales org to create demand generation plans aligned to commercial objectives. You will be responsible for identifying the most attractive pockets of opportunity & develop the right marketing approaches to unlock them. To do this, you will need to collaborate with our broader marketing functions (including Audience, PR, Social, Marketing Operations, Design) & external agency partners.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop the go-to-market plans for UK&I & new markets as required - Identify market trends, target audience, competitor landscape, & other relevant information to form the plans
  • Be the UK&I market expert, meet customers & prospects, understand their needs, know what drives demand in our target buying groups, work hand-in-hand with Sales & Lead Development to meet plan
  • Design & execute local marketing programs including account-based marketing (1:1, 1:few, 1:many), regional events (F2F & Digital), paid media advertising & direct mail that drives engagement with our named set of target accounts
  • Analyse & continuously improve the performance of advertising programs across paid media channels e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, Google
  • Leverage the demand engine technology for intent insights that helps shape funnel-stage targeting 
  • Manage local marketing budget to ensure optimal resource allocation mix to drive demand
  • Work closely with our SDR managers & wider team to improve MQA effectiveness & forward funnel conversion.
  • Report on demand performance metrics for managed marketing programs in the UK&I region
  • Contribute to the production & syndication of UK&I content

About you:

  • Well rounded B2B, Tech/SaaS related marketing background
  • Experienced in executing across the many areas of the marketing mix
  • Highly motivated self-starter that cares about delivering results 
  • Analytical mindset, autonomous, detail-oriented, & passionate about working with sales & global marketing teams
  • Experience working with ABM, CRM marketing & performance measurement platforms (e.g. Demandbase, Salesforce, Pardot, PathFactory, ON24, Google Analytics, Looker)
  • Strong communication, presentation & written skills; ability to interact with virtual teams 
  • Hypothesis & data-driven approach to managing & identifying new demand programs that deliver results
  • Proven record of high performance in your previous positions

Ideal but not essential:

  • Previous experience working within the payments industry
  • Account-based marketing experience would be a plus

This means teams will be able to come into a GC office between one & three days per week for collaboration & teamwork, with the rest spent working remotely to enable a healthy work/life balance. Well also be reimagining our office environments so they enhance the collaboration & socialisation aspects our GeeCees told us they value most highly.
