Lyft is hiring for its growing Compliance & Ethics Team. If youre an experienced professional whos excited about developing a program to promote honest, ethical, & legally compliant behavior across a dynamic & innovative company, this team is for you! As the Compliance & Ethics Program Manager, you will be responsible for designing, managing, & measuring the effectiveness of processes & initiatives that will make up Lyfts corporate compliance & ethics function. You will work closely with the Director of Compliance & Ethics & the rest of the Compliance team, as well as partners in Legal & Finance, to build & implement the program structures that will ensure that we remain in compliance with Lyfts Code of Business Conduct & Ethics. You will also lead projects to track, validate, & demonstrate the effectiveness of the program against internal goals & benchmarks. You should be an organized self-starter who excels at collaboration. You will report to the Director of Compliance & Ethics.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the the Director of Compliance & Ethics to design, implement, & maintain Lyfts corporate compliance & ethics program
  • Create & own tools to organize, prioritize, & implement projects & workflows
  • Help maintain Lyfts compliance hotline & reporting platform
  • Define key performance indicators for the compliance & ethics program, & manage dependencies & changes
  • Develop & refine systems for monitoring & validating the effectiveness of program initiatives, including dashboards for compliance-related metrics
  • Prepare presentations on progress & key issues, & attend & participate in meetings of managements ethics committee & its working groups
  • Suggest & drive process improvements to increase effectiveness, efficiency, & transparency of the program
  • Assist in responding to issues, problems, & questions as they arise in real time
  • Proactively collaborate with partners in Legal, Finance, Human Resources, & Internal Audit on cross-functional initiatives & information sharing exercises

Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of program management experience, including experience in a compliance and/or audit function
  • Knowledge of core concepts related to corporate compliance & ethics, industry best practices, & regulatory requirements
  • Excellent problem solving abilities & proven ability to execute on established timelines
  • Highly organized & able to visually represent complex concepts & work flows
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate confidently & effectively with all levels of the Lyft team
  • Passion for Lyft & the ride-sharing community
