The Directorof Product, Video / CTV is responsible for driving & implementing product strategy for a growing market ofvideo publishers & buyers.This includes the rapidly expanding landscape of video environments being driven by consumer behavior - OTT environments like mobile in-app & CTV being two key areas. It also includes more standardweb & in-appvideo.
Thecandidate will haveastrongportfolio of successfulproducts & a full grasp of thedigitalvideoadvertisingspaceanditsevolutionover the last5years.They will have a grasp of programmaticadvertisingfrom the buy & sell side.They willunderstandsome of the rapidly evolving consumption & paid media advancements in OTT/CTV.Theywill be familiar with digital video & TV content providersand emergingpublisher andagency practices in purchasing video.They will have a full spectrum of product skills. Thisincludesevangelizing their products, assessing competition, defining visionandcollaborating with engineering, operations & marketing todrive thesuccessful delivery & adoption oftheirplatform.A nice to have is an understanding of streaming services,other distribution channels & ad stitching companies.
As akeymember of the product management team, you will be responsible for creating the product vision, strategy, design & execution of your area of the product portfolio.
Study & evangelizehow publishers are tacklingvideo advertisingand how buyers are willing to buy it.
Collaborate closely withsales, customer support, marketing, business development, product & engineeringteams in the company.
Partner in market with sales & marketing across NA, EMEA & APAC growing video markets.
Define, develop & execute the vision, roadmap, requirements, & performance metrics for PubMaticVideo & OTTproducts.
Createongoingframeworkto analyze competitive landscape, potential partnerships & opportunities.
Understand & educate marketing andcustomer facingbuy-sideandsell-sideteams on the landscape, key factors, key indicators & how we will take advantage of them.
Collaborate with product teams & engineers to bring solution to market on time & within budget.
Own backlog grooming & prioritization while collaborating with stakeholders.
5+ years ofproduct management experience.4+ yearsinvideo advertisingacross mobile, web andotherenvironments. Candidate must have some programmatic advertising experienceas well.
Strong interpersonal skills & proven leadership track record.
Autonomous learner, curious problem solver & team player.
Nice to have:Extensive grasp ofcomplexity of the playersin thevideomarket/CTVon publisher & buyer side, including content partners, streaming platforms & other distribution channels, programmatic advertising platforms, ad stitching companies & emerging agency buying practices per video.
Understanding ofexisting tech platforms servicing the digital videoadvertising space andevolutionto & beyondvarious versions ofstreaming servicesand other distribution channels,VPAID,VAST, etc.
Exceptional client communication & interaction skills, including the ability to communicate with client & business teams to gather & validate requirements.
Position will require some domestic & international travel.
