Jackpocket is the first mobile lottery app in the U.S. that offers players a secure way to order official state lottery tickets, such as Powerball, Mega Millions, & more, via their smartphones. We're creating a more convenient, fun, & responsible way to play the lottery by modernizing the $300B global lottery market with a mobile platform that everyone, including grandma, can feel good about.

Jackpocket is seeking a Director of CRM & Loyalty to join our Marketing team. You will dig into consumer motivations, purchasing patterns, likelihood to churn, & identify key opportunities to improve customer experience & drive loyalty. Youll drive initiatives end-to-end that increase customer engagement, retention, & LTV. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to build your team & oversee marketing efforts across key touch points including email, in-app, push, & SMS. This role is critical to our continued growth & will partner across Analytics, Product, & Creative teams with significant exposure to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize our customer retention strategy & oversee lifecycle marketing across key touch points, including email, in-app, push, & SMS based on insights & deep understanding of customer journey
  • Develop a deep understanding of our customer by partnering with Analytics to extract insights on consumer behavior & segmentation, cohort retention, & churn; turn insights into actionable plans to increase user engagement & retention
  • Concept & lead launch of a scalable loyalty program, with partnership from Product, Creative, & other internal partners
  • Identify improvements & partner with Product to revamp our referral & subscription programs
  • Define key metrics for retention success, develop dashboards with Analytics, monitor & report regularly to leadership

Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in analytical / strategic marketing roles, preferably with background in CRM, retention or loyalty marketing
  • Experience building personalized CRM campaigns through marketing automation systems (Braze preferred)
  • Developed & executed loyalty programs for mobile-first consumer brands
  • Data-driven decision-maker with continuous desire to analyze & further improve performance
  • Strong track record in concepting initiatives, managing projects with little direction, & driving measurable results
  • Excellent communication skills in both written & verbal form; intellectually curious, driven, & a creative problem-solver

Preferred Qualifications

  • Braze & Looker experience 
  • Experience in a start-up environment
