Hi, we're Oscar. Were hiring a Pharmacy Coordinator, STARS  to join our Value Capture team.

Role Summary:

This position will support quality initiatives for ACA QRS & MA STARS. Working closely with internal & external partners to drive improvement in prescription-based QRS/STARS measures. 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Support efforts to improve prescription-based quality measures by working with internal partners (PopHealth, Concierge, Pharmacy) & external partners (Medical Groups)
  • Analyze data to implement & monitor quality improvement programs
  • Design & implement a plan for monitoring performance, including trends & opportunities
  • Assist in goal setting & solution building to meet goals for each quality measure
  • Collaborate with peers across the organization to implement approved interventions
  • Work collaboratively as a member of the STARS team sharing responsibility for meeting quality measure goals
  • Lead & assist with special projects

You will report into the Associate Director, Pharmacy. This is a remote role, you will work remotely in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Washington. Note, this list of states is subject to change

Required education & experience

  • Valid Pharmacy technician license/certification/registration
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Understanding of prescription benefit designs

Preferred education & experience

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • Managed care or corporate pharmacy work experience
  • Project management experience 
  • Familiarity with QRS & STARS measures
  • Basic data analysis skills
