We recently launched our second innovation: Elvie Pump, the worlds first silent wearable breast pump, which is making it possible for new mothers to pump anytime, anywhere. Elvie Pump received international praise following its unveiling on the catwalk at London Fashion Week & at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
In April 2019, Elvie announced a $42 million Series B from IPGL, Octopus Ventures & Impact Ventures bringing the total raised thus far to over $50 million. Our Series B represented the largest ever fundraise in femtech. This new round of financing will accelerate Elvies research & development efforts, as well as help grow brand awareness & distribution for Elvie Pump & Elvie Trainer across the Americas, Europe & Asia.

In the U.S., Elvie has been successfully selling our products direct to consumer via Elvie.com & through several top-tier Retailers. We've historically been managing this market through our team based in London with frequent U.S. travel. Given the size of the market & phenomenal growth to date, it's become clear that the U.S. will continue to be crucial to our future growth & that to fully maximise the opportunity, it will necessitate the building of a local U.S. based operation. After we closed our Series B in April 2019, we agreed to set up our U.S. physical presence & open our first office in New York City. We are now building the U.S. team which will initially consist of a Head of Marketing, a Head of Sales, & PR. Once the team is in place, we expect it to further grow & evolve as needed including the eventual hiring of a General Manager to run the country.
We are looking for an experienced Head of Marketing to spearhead the next stage of aggressive growth for Elvie in the US. Based in New York City & working in partnership with the global team in London, you will build, lead, develop & execute the US marketing strategy across both our existing & future categories. This will be our first marketing hire in the U.S. & you will have the opportunity to build & grow a team

Marketing Strategy & Plans Build, own & lead the US marketing strategy for Elvies existing & future categories Build the US marketing plan for each category, working in partnership with global internal functions to ensure your local needs across creative, social media, trade marketing, performance media & PR are supported. Sets the strategies & plans to meet or exceed US / Corporate OKRs with a key focus on delivering the revenue, profit & cash flow targets. Work in partnership with US Head of Sales to build & drive the US distribution & retail plan
P&L / Financial Management Budget responsibility for all categories remaining laser focused on ROI whilst driving our volume goals Work closely with the Global Finance team to ensure strong financial controls are in place & deliver a profitable marketing P&L
Research & Insight Review & analyze US market & competitor trends in all categories & continue to drive an insight led plan
Retail/Trade Marketing Build & execute a Retail Marketing plan by account in coordination with the US Head of Sales that drives incremental business results
PR/Influencer Lead & drive PR, influencer & events agencies to drive brand affinity & commercial results Work closely with the US PR Manager & US PR external agency
- Work in partnership with all functions in both the US & our global HQ including Finance, Operations, Global Marketing, Sales
