What youll do
DV Pinnacle is our self-service platform which encompasses a suite of robust tools accessible to customers worldwide, that allow them to independently perform a variety of workflows ranging from activation to reporting.
As Senior Product Analyst, Pinnacle Customer Insights, you will support the growth, innovation & optimization of DVs self-service suite of activation & reporting products. This role is a key player on the Product Management team as you will inform & drive data based decisions directly impacting advertisers & partners across the digital landscape. The ideal candidate for this position enjoys diving deeply into data, has good product intuition & can effectively use insights to tell the story of the customer journey. You will help us better understand how users across various markets & segments are interacting with existing products to help inform future products & features. Communication skills are key as this role will interface with various teams across the DV organization.
This role is based in NYC & sits within the Pinnacle Customer Experience team.
What youll do:
- Be an integral part of the Customer Experience team to direct & implement initiatives related to gaining detailed insights about our customers, to help build new & better products, grow usage & identify areas for improvement.
- Build & maintain KPI dashboards to service the various parts of the Pinnacle platform.
- Learn our various internal analytic data sources inside-out & become a resident expert.
- Independently pull & combine data from various data sources & identify customer trends & needs through proactive analysis.
- Support the Pinnacle product manager & product designers lifecycle by gathering data to support product requirements & releases, including impact analysis of product changes & proposing recommendations.
- Convert data into actionable insights, & share recommendations via written reports, presentations, & dashboards (including visual tables & graphs) to internal clients, stakeholders, & senior leadership.
- Conduct competitive analysis of self-service products & identify industry trends.
- Monitor key product metrics, understand the root causes of changes in metrics, & communicate changes to product teams.
- Work with product & engineering stakeholders to continuously improve & maintain analytics infrastructure to help continuously inform business decisions.
- Use internal & third-party tools to tag new UI features when they go live, & track usage & adoption.
- Participate in customer insights gathering activities such as surveys, customer interviews, writing questions, & analyzing qualitative data.
Who you are
- BA/BS degree in a quantitative field or technical field
- 2+ years experience in the ad tech space or digital media/marketing, including experience working with a self-service based customer model.
- 5+ years of full time working experience in quantitative analysis roles.
- Hands-on, intermediate/advanced experience with SQL & data analysis tools.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce & its reporting tools.
- Experience using Pendo, Google Analytics, DataStudio, Splunk and Looker.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills with proven experience translating analytics into business insights for non-technical audiences.
- Excellent prioritization, time management & organization skills, with a rigorous attention to detail.
- Experience finding interesting, actionable insights within vast data sets to tell a story.
- Self-starter who is curious with an analytical mind.
The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, & balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.
The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between [$81,00 to $161,000]. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, & benefits.
