What We Are Looking For:

The EU Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, organizing & executing programs that generate new prospects & advance existing opportunities for the sales team in the EU, with an emphasis on France & Germany. This person will act as a liaison between marketing & inside, partner & field sales teams as well as central demand functions such as corporate marketing & global events. The EU marketing manager helps develop marketing plans consisting of multi-touch, multi-dimensional programs including both inbound & outbound tactics. Finally, the EU marketing manager will also help manage EU vendor contracts & relationships & supervise marketing assistants/ coordinators where relevant. This position will be based either in Paris, Franceand report to the VP of Marketing.

What We Want You To Do:

  • Develop & deliver the EU marketing strategy to meet agreed pipeline targets & deliver on direct & partner growth expectations
  • Define & execute programs to creatively demonstrate Persados value to prospects, customers & partners
  • Work with field marketing to identify & successfully execute key prospect, customer & partner events to support key pipeline & customer renewal & advocacy goals
  • Drive & support all Persado EU communications & events.
  • Incorporate Account Based Marketing (ABM) activities to key accounts
  • Support the EU partner organization through the execution of partner marketing activities incorporating communications, partner programs, events, & demand campaigns
  • Develop & implement pipeline acceleration programs jointly with sales
  • Research, choose, design & manage live events to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix, & ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event & post- event strategy to increase engagement & response rates
  • Interface with sales to determine sales enablement needs, & work with product/solution marketing to develop tools, programs in a box, training & content
  • Forecast, measure, analyze & report on impact of programs
  • Proactively engage with the direct & indirect sales teams to coordinate, communicate, & optimize the impact of marketing activities
  • Evaluate, select & manage vendors that contribute to local demand creation programs including events venues & services, digital marketing agencies, direct mail providers when relevant
  • Develop & implement target account strategy to support account-based selling
  • Communicate & educate the sales team regarding new & planned marketing activities including global, regional & local programs

What We Want To See:

  • 4 or more years of field or regional marketing leadership experience in the EU
  • Experience in conceiving of & executing on programs designed to engage CMO & marketing executives is a must
  • Extensive experience in localizing US-centric marketing programs/materials/formats effectively to key European markets
  • Proven experience working with sales teams & supporting programs to drive awareness, demand, & bookings
  • Ability to demonstrate a track record of success in all key areas of responsibility
  • Ability to consistently produce results on time & within budget
  • Ability to align tactical plans with strategies
  • Inbound marketing strategy/execution experience
  • Ability to understand decision impact on other areas of the business
  • Marketing automation experience (Marketo/Pardot)
  • Salesforce automation experience (Salesforce.com)
  • Fluency in French & German is a must
