Our roster has an opening with your name on it

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our social team who will strategize & implement real-time sports statistics & milestones into deliverable brand content across multiple social media channels.

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Identify & curate social media content that aligns with FanDuels social media goals, working closely with Social Media Editor & Director to implement overall social strategy
  • Ensure all editorial calendars, assets & content are timely & up to date, planning, scheduling, proofreading & properly executing content across all social channels
  • Research & keep a pulse on the ever-evolving social & digital world, what content & platforms are relevant & how FanDuel can be impactful in the space
  • Assist with cross-functional marketing campaigns, including games, contests & giveaways, ensuring best practices are met & messaging/assets are properly executed on owned social channels
  • Track KPIs of FanDuels social media channels with metrics & provide recommendations for optimization
  • Attend FanDuel events as needed, ensuring complete social coverage in a professional manner 

What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous editorial or social media experience in sports news (working in social media, sports, design or journalism) preferred
  • Experience working across all current social media platforms (Including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, TikTok)
  • Proficiency in Graphic Design, Animation, Video Editing; Fluency in Photoshop
  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends, holidays if necessary, as well as being on call for urgent PR matters
  • Strong grammar skills & meticulous attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge of internet sports culture (including passion for fantasy sports)
  • Ability to create engaging social media copy with minimal guidance & multitask in real time
