The role you'll play:

CB Insights is seeking a motivated AR associate to join our growing Finance team that will help assist in billing & collection operations specific to the AR department. You will monitor accounts daily & taking actions in order to encourage timely payments. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple departments across several tasks integral to client & cross department relationships.

Your main tasks:

• Generate invoices & confirm invoice delivery & acceptance
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders & contacting clients; track & escalate past due invoices
• Investigate & resolve customer queries
• Complete vendor onboarding tasks (website registration, document completion, etc) 
• Catalog & update internal billing records for all clients
• Be a point of contact for the sales team to field general payment & AR related questions
• Update account status & prepare reports on progress of collection activities
• Assist in streamlining our processes & creating standard operating procedures for future workflows
• Help with ad-hoc requests

What you bring to the table:

• BA/BS with 1-3 years related experience in a similar role
• Experience working with Fortune 500 customers & international clients
• Experience with excel, google sheets & familiarity with industry-standard software, such as Intact & Salesforce
• Strong verbal & written communication skills & the ability to handle potential tense interactions with clients & internal teams
• Detail oriented with strong personal accountability
