About the Role

Purpose is seeking an Executive Assistant who will work closely with the Managing Director & Head of Office, Europe & team & provide daily support to the Managing Director & Head of Office, Europe. Our ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented & organized & thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The Executive Assistant will be proactive in corresponding with external contacts & internal team members alike to schedule & coordinate meetings & calls. In addition, the Executive Assistant will help streamline tasks for the Managing Director & Head of Office, Europe by exhibiting consistent inbox management, flagging & prioritizing responses to emails & coordinating with global senior leaders on upcoming priorities. Your day-to-day work will also include arranging travel logistics, handling assorted personal tasks, & other requests as necessary to ensure the day runs smoothly. 

This full time staff position is based in Purposes London office in the Farringdon district. This role is offered with a salary band of 35,000 - 46,000, commensurate with experience, with possible room for negotiation for the right candidate.

  • Provide timely, efficient administrative support to the Managing Director & Head of Office, Europe
  • Maintain regular daily communication with the Managing Director & Head of Office, Europe, ensuring close adherence to a rapidly changing calendar
  • Manage the Managing Director & Head of Office, Europes inbox, including filtering, maintaining a daily update of all incoming emails, & flagging the most urgent or time sensitive needs
  • Manage the Managing Director & Head of Office, Europes calendar, including heavy scheduling, on a daily, weekly, & monthly basis
  • Screen & prioritize the Managing Director & Head of Office, Europes incoming internal & external inquiries
  • Liaise with our Partnerships team to ensure external meetings are effectively staffed
  • Coordinate onsite & offsite meetings, including catering needs, briefing the Managing Director & Head of Office, Europe, material & room preparations
  • Coordinate an extensive speaking engagement schedule in conjunction with speakers bureau
  • Coordinate domestic & international travel arrangements
  • Prepare & update contact lists & relevant information on contacts
  • Complete business & personal errands for Managing Director & Head of Office, Europe & family
  • Work with the Purpose team to ensure appropriate briefs, notes, & clear follow-up from meetings
  • Track Managing Director & Head of Office, Europes expenses & submit monthly expense reports 
  • Other administrative & personal duties as assigned


  • 4+ years previous experience as an executive or personal assistant to a senior staff member or equivalent relevant experience
  • A keen eye for detail & meticulous organization skills
  • Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
  • Proactive & able to anticipate needs
  • Responds well to new challenges & able to adapt priorities accordingly
  • Remains calm & focused in a fast-paced & deadline-driven environment
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality on sensitive company information & high level of integrity
  • Comfortable working with all levels of clients, visitors & employees, including senior executives
  • Experience with Google Suite, including Gmail & Google Calendar
  • Proficient with Mac systems & software, including Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
  • Flexibility on work hours
