ABOUT THE ROLE:

Were searching for a motivated Brand Marketing Manager to contribute to this mission by proposing & executing on marketing tactics to promote the ShopRunner brand, driving customer acquisition, accelerating brand awareness, & improving brand affinity.  This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical acumen, project management, & cross functional relationship management. 

ShopRunner is intrinsically a two-sided business, B2B in that we equip top retailers (Bloomingdales, Saks, Neiman Marcus, etc.) with technical capabilities & access to select customers to fuel their e-commerce businesses, & B2C in that we offer our millions of members access to free 2-day shipping & returns, plus exclusive perks at our network of 100+ retailers. 

The Brand Marketing team spearheads the B2C marketing efforts in promoting ShopRunner to our members. From brand strategy & standards, to PR & sponsorships, this subsection of the marketing team encompasses all consumer facing marketing efforts, ensuring that we speak directly to our members & prospective members through an engaging lens & will work with the Director of Brand Marketing & Content Strategy & the copywriter to develop creative strategy & planning for brand & content marketing campaigns.

WHAT YOULL DO: 

  • Manage the ideation, production, strategy & execution of 360 brand marketing campaigns promoting the ShopRunner brand & driving customer acquisition & retention (i.e. podcast sponsorships, social media campaigns, etc.)
  • Work closely with our agencies to develop & evolve consumer facing efforts to ensure the brands/initiatives are being well represented in all elements & executions
  • Act as point of contact with various external & internal stakeholders, leading communication & relationships, providing creative feedback & managing approvals
  • Work with PR consultant as needed when promoting the ShopRunner brand in conjunction with PR strategy & execution.
  • Advise copywriter on consumer facing copy including product copy & marketing channels
  • Work with the Director & Manager of Brand & Content Strategy to execute initiatives relating to brand strategy, development & standards as we continually evolve the way in which ShopRunner is represented externally
  • Contribute to creative brainstorms for both specific & overarching marketing initiatives that promote the ShopRunner brand, both for partner agnostic campaigns & in co-marketing efforts with our credit card or retail partners
  • General project management associated with marketing campaigns, leading execution from ideation & launch to stakeholder recap.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:

  • 5-7+ years of work experience in the areas of consumer marketing, brand marketing, or product marketing, preferably at a tech company. Experience in social media, growth marketing or ecommerce experience a plus
  • Hands on experience building & executing go to market strategies & 360 marketing campaigns 
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, & an ability to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize & manage work based on varying timelines
  • Analytical acumen & curiosity you enjoy using data to drive your decisions & you enjoy turning data into insights
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills   experience in copywriting or content strategy is a plus
  • Skilled in Google Slides/Powerpoint is a must, Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus
  • An entrepreneurial & scrappy approach (i.e. no job is not my job attitude), willing to roll up your sleeves & find creative ways to get things done
  • Creativity, a passion for storytelling/content, & an interest in fashion & retail  
  • Experience with Facebook Ads Manager & Google Analytics
