We are in search of a strategy, creative & passionate Director, Communications to lead external & internal communications at Vroom. In this role, the Director will provide strategic guidance to the SVP, Marketing, as well as C-level leaders on both consumer & business communication efforts. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of integrated communications strategy including experience leading earned & owned efforts to build brand visibility & trust. This is a tremendous opportunity to establish & lead the communications discipline within Vroom & strengthen Vroom's reputation as a leading brand in a growing & dynamic category. The Director will work closely with our internal business teams, marketing team & will manage our external agency to craft communication strategies & content that drive interest across consumer & business press, as well as with influencers & on social media.
In addition to leading external communications, the Director will partner closely with our People & Culture team to promote our employer brand & reputation & enhance internal employee communications.
