The Role

Breather is seeking a Director of Sales to lead & scale our growing sales division. The Director of Sales will be tasked with developing & implementing our GTM strategy in collaboration with other senior growth leaders. He/She will lead a team of 10+ Inside/Outside Account Executives located across our core markets, responsible for coaching, mentoring & motivating the sales team to meet/exceed individual & team goals..

The ideal candidate will have a player coach mentality & a bias to take action quickly & effectively. This is a full-time role reporting directly into the COO.

As a Director of Sales at Breather, You Will:

  • Mentor, train, coach & lead a team of 8+ Account Executives on end-to-end sales processes
  • Accompany team members on tours/meetings with key target accounts
  • Motivate team to exceed sales targets with a focus on leveraging our diverse product bundle to grow their book of business
  • Facilitate sales forecasting, budgeting, & process optimization
  • Measure overall team effectiveness & report key learnings to the Executive team
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across several departments to develop, refine, align & execute against company GTM
  • Work closely with marketing & demand gen teams to improve lead generation processes & the overall customer experience pre-/post-acquisition
  • Organize & execute division trainings designed to improve team effectiveness & optimal performance of the sales force

Helpful Skills & Experience Youll Need to Succeed

  • 2+ years experience developing & implementing global sales strategy as Director/VP Sales
  • 4+ years prior sales management experience in a rapidly growing industry. Experience scaling a SMB sales team a strong asset.
  • 7+ years prior sales experience with proven track record of exceeding goals
  • Experience building & growing a sales team with natural ability to inspire others
  • Experience with SalesForce a must
  • Experience with sales enablement tools (i.e. Salesloft, Outreach, etc.) is a plus
  • Self starter with an analytical, detail oriented & process driven approach to managing
