In the last few years, the landscape for PokerStars operations has gradually moved into markets that get regulated. One of the key areas in the move to regulated markets is automated regulatory reporting. This serves the regulators need for control, supervision, monitoring & revenue/tax calculations.

We need someone to convert regulatory reporting requirements & business guidelines into functional specifications & business rules. Someone eager to make sure we achieve accurate regulatory reporting with reasonable development efforts & to the satisfaction of the regulators.


Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Perform analysis of information received from regulators & be able to clearly understand how our system should be enhanced for complying with them
  • Provide guidelines & analysis conclusions for writing detailed business requirements documents, which are fed into development teams for implementation
  • Work closely with the development teams during requirements review & implementation phases, ensuring complete & accurate implementation, & promptly addressing questions raised
  • Connect to other PokerStars teams & partners (Casino, Sportsbook, Poker, Compliance, Finance, Tax, Loyalty & Bonusing) for getting required information & for ensuring regulatory reports accurately reflect the system
  • Provide ideas for process improvements within the team


What were looking for in our next teammate

  • 3+ years as a product, business and/or business systems analyst or have qualification/certification in these areas
  • Bachelors degree in computer science or another technology related discipline preferred
  • Strong interest & aptitude in defining business requirements for software development
  • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Strong relationship management skills ability to relate to business users & software developers
  • Ability to work under pressure & to tight deadlines
  • Creative & analytical approach to problem solving
  • Having a desire to fully understand things they work on, not willing to compromise on partial understanding
  • Ability to lead & prioritize high volumes of responsibilities autonomously without delays in results & to tight deadlines
  • Experience in working within regulatory frameworks & compliance preferred
  • Knowledge of regulatory product requirement across jurisdictions, & with regulatory reporting specifically preferred
