From crafting long-form articles to headlines, to tweets, you understand the importance of nuanced voice, tone & messaging across every medium. You are comfortable sharing ideas or challenging an existing one. You have a passion for social listening & like keeping up with & consuming social media trends, marketing tactics, with a deep understanding of all social platforms.  You have experience or a strong desire to work with high-profile public figures & believe in the power of "personal branding" to achieve business objectives. You thrive in fast-paced environments where you get to wear many hats & you never hesitate to roll up your sleeves to take action when needed. Task At Hand:

As a Creative Strategist at VT, you will be a key part of the companys digital marketing arm, helping to create & promote effective digital strategies with our established Public Figure/Executive level clients. The ideal candidate will be able to design positioning strategies for the world's top leaders, as well as drive the execution of their day-to-day copywriting & channel management needs for campaigns across social & digital. The strategist will also serve as an in-house evangelist on all things digital, & counsel key clients about the benefits of using social media to connect directly with their audiences. The candidate should be fluent in paid, owned, & earned strategies, & have specific experience with ghostwriting/copywriting & community management. This position reports directly into a Director on the team. 


  • Drive day to day comms with clients to identify key strategic challenges & business, marketing, & digital needs to be addressed
  • Conduct voice workshops
  • , write positioning statements & key messaging priorities for diverse clients
  • Design & execute plans to improve the social media profile of top CEOs & other public figures
  • Work with the team to develop content strategies & construct editorial calendars for various clients
  • Develop community engagement strategies, systems, & guardrails
  • Publish approved content across multiple social media platforms 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop deep domain expertise based on client industries
  • Ability to quickly turn existing material/conversations into a volume of social content & copy, ranging from smaller pieces (tweets, captions) to long-form articles 
  • Deep understanding of how to construct optimized copy across the most relevant social/digital platforms
  • Understanding of how to best leverage keywords, tags, hashtags, SEO, SEM etc. for maximum discoverability
  • Manage new business strategy & presentation preparation
  • Periodic creation of POVs & thought leadership pieces for clients & internal stakeholders
  • Work across all divisions of VaynerTalent to identify & explore opportunities for social & digital engagement
  • Assist with campaign reporting efforts outlining key learnings & creating case studies when needed
  • Process & evaluate insights from diverse qualitative & quantitative sources, especially social media activity & sentiment
  • Provide strategic & creative feedback to all members of the team


  • 5+ years of social media, community management & digital marketing experience
  • Excellent graphic capabilities to assist with content & presentation creation
  • Some expertise in digital marketing including search, paid social, media partnerships & influencer marketing
  • Demonstrated experience building & executing digital/social media campaigns across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, & emerging social networks/technologies
  • Understanding of the impact of social media across all digital marketing channels (and the ability to discuss the ROI of social media campaigns)
  • An understanding of how social can be used within traditional public relations & issues management relationships
  • Exceptional written & communication skills
  • The ability to travel globally as necessary
  • Proven written & face-to-face communication skills
  • Resourcefulness, team orientation, enthusiasm, & an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to work independently & request support & advice when required
  • Proven leadership qualities, a strong work commitment, & high ethical standards
  • Strong verbal, quantitative, & analytical skills
