About the role

Due to rapid growth & increased demand for our Data Privacy Compliance platform, OneTrust is seeking to add an IT Manager.The ideal candidate will have the IT Basics down - laptops, phones, basic understanding of security, & AD. We are looking for someone who is passionate about IT, a self-starter, motivated, & flexible & eager to use "down time" as a utility player to assist other IT groups within our company. Experience in handling a wide range of IT administrative tasks with the ability to work independently. Well organized, flexible & enjoy the challenges of a fast-paced working environment.

What you'll do

  • Plan, organize, control & evaluate IT & electronic data operations
  • Manage IT staff by recruiting, training & coaching employees, communicating job expectations & appraising their performance
  • Design, develop, implement & coordinate systems, policies & procedures
  • Ensure security of data, network access & backup systems
  • Act in alignment with user needs & system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
  • Identify problematic areas & implement strategic solutions in time
  • Audit systems & assess their outcomes
  • Support security & compliance initiatives & standards on all end-user systems
  • Document any new knowledge or processes to facilitate knowledge transfer throughout the team
  • Work with multiple business units to determine requirements for IT related projects
  • Manage expenses related to IT purchasing
  • On boarding/off boarding
  • Desktop/laptop imaging, configuration & support for Mac & Windows
  • Software configuration
  • Facilitate the Audio/Visual for large scale meetings
  • Hardware & software asset inventory control
  • Support all mobile devices (cell phones & tablets)
  • Configure & manage a mobile device management solution, such as VMware AirWatch

What we're looking for

  • Eight (8)+ years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience in computer support
  • Four (4)+ years of working experience as an IT manager or relevant experience, with experience managing a global team
  • Must be independent, self-motivated, detailed oriented, highly organized, able to multi-task & meet aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced working environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware or software related problems
  • Excellent problem solving & fault diagnosis skills
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical & non-technical users over the phone, in person & through progress reports, e-mail & other written documentation
  • Strong networking background (ability to troubleshoot WAN connectivity as well as LAN & VPN issues)
  • Hands on experience with
    • Microsoft Active Directory & Azure AD
    • Exchange Online
    • Multi-function printers
    • Microsoft Office 365 Suite
    • SSO using SAML 2.0 & LDAP
    • Powershell, and/or bash scripting
    • Video conferencing tools such as Webex
    • Sharepoint Online
    • Supporting iPhone, & Android devices
    • Firewalls, switches, & wireless access points
  • Microsoft Active Directory & Azure AD
  • Exchange Online
  • Multi-function printers
  • Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • SSO using SAML 2.0 & LDAP
  • Powershell, and/or bash scripting
  • Video conferencing tools such as Webex
